RTX Spark vs DGX Spark vs N1X — clearing up the names
- RTX Spark
- NVIDIA's consumer Windows on Arm laptops & small desktops, announced with Microsoft on May 31 2026 (shipping Fall 2026). This is the Windows-on-Arm one — Prism x86 emulation is optimized for it, and CUDA / RTX run natively.
- DGX Spark
- Same GB10/N1X silicon family, but an AI workstation that runs DGX OS (Ubuntu-based) — NOT Windows. Shipped Oct 2025. "DGX Spark runs Windows on Arm" is a common mistake.
- N1X
- NVIDIA's internal codename for the superchip the industry tracked for ~3 years (a Grace Blackwell / GB10 derivative recast for the PC). RTX Spark is the productized consumer brand of it.

Not actually Windows on Arm
Some Arm computers are easy to mistake for Windows on Arm but are not. Huawei Qingyun (Kirin chips) run domestic OSes (UOS / Kylin), not Windows 11 ARM. Apple Silicon Macs run macOS (though they can run Windows 11 on Arm in a VM — see our Mac guide). Chromebooks and Android Arm laptops are not Windows either.
